In this world, there is a creature called "ghost". The story takes place in Fusya Academy, where an organization called "brain dysfunction countermeasure room" is set up to deal with the dangers and troubles brought by ghosts. Haruhiko Ichijo (voiced by Hiro Shimono) is a freshman and a member of the countermeasure room. He has the ability to seal ghosts with paintings and is a resourceful military strategist. Mai Kawagami (voiced by Sumire Uesaka) is Haruhiko Ichijo's senior. She is cheerful and impulsive and often causes a lot of trouble. She and Haruhiko form a partnership and complement each other's strengths and weaknesses. In addition, the gentle and elegant daughter Reina Izumi (voiced by Saori Hayami) and the unique and aloof Minase Koji (voiced by Maaya Uchida) gather together to declare war on the ghosts in order to protect their beloved friends and homes.
