Tensugaya, Murasakiga and Tessaiga, known as the "Three Domineering Swords of the World", are in charge of the three realms of heaven, earth and man. They were all owned by Inuyasha's father, Touga. Touga fell in love with the human princess Izayoi and gave birth to Inuyasha, which aroused the jealousy of the general Setsuna Takemaru who had a crush on Izayoi.
