Plot:
Jiro Ueda (Hiroshi Abe), a professor at the Japan Institute of Science and Technology, majors in physics. He challenges all the superpowers in Japan, "If you can prove the existence of superpowers in front of me, you will get a reward." This advertisement attracted the attention of the down-and-out magician, Naoko Yamada (Yukie Nakama), the daughter of Yamada Gozo, who was once the number one magician in Japan. Naoko, who wanted to cheat for the reward, and Ueda became partners in intrigue. The two who often quarreled were involved in superpower events and exposed the truth. Finally, Jiro Ueda wrote a book about their experience to crack fake superpowers, which attracted a man who claimed to be from Rokutomura. According to him, every January 11th, people would die in the hotel he runs. Is this a curse, a superpower, or an unspeakable crime? Jiro Ueda and Naoko Yamada teamed up again, and the second season of "The Trap" full of suspense, reasoning and scientific knowledge began.
