Plot:
"Kill Your Friends" is adapted from the novel of the same name by Scottish writer John Niven. It tells the story of an A&R man, Steven Stelfox, who, in order to find the next big hit, is deeply trapped in this music industry where one person is in charge of the ups and downs, and is heading towards an irretrievable story. In the music industry, A&R (artist and repertoire) is a department under a record company, responsible for discovering and training singers or artists. The A&R department serves as a link between record companies and singers, helping the singers of record companies to succeed in the commercial market, and also developing and training the singers' abilities. In addition, A&R is often responsible for signing contracts with singers, finding suitable composers and record producers for singers, and arranging recording schedules.
