Plot:
Kenya Barris, the creator of the ABC comedy series Black-ish, will remake the 1992 basketball comedy film White Men Can't Jump. NBA Los Angeles Clippers player Blake Griffin and NFL Carolina Panthers football player Ryan Kalil will also participate in the production. The old version of Black-ish tells the story of Sidney Deane, played by Wesley Snipes, and Billy Hoyle, played by Woody Harrelson, who teamed up to cheat by playing and betting on basketball. Billy is a white man, and black street basketball players often think that he can't play basketball, so they underestimate their opponents and lose the game. The title of this film "White Men Can't Jump" is Sidney's joke to Billy because he said he couldn't dunk. The new version of "Black and White Dragon" is still produced and distributed by 20th Century Fox.
