Plot:
After countless battles and life and death tests, the strong and heroic warrior John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) put down his weapons and lived a quiet life of practice in Thailand. One day, Colonel Trautman (Richard Crenna) suddenly appeared in front of him. Not long ago, the colonel was ordered to lead his troops to Afghanistan to assist local mujahideen warriors in resisting the invasion of the Soviets. Although the scene of Afghan civilians suffering from foreign invasion and devastation in the photo was shocking, Rambo still rejected the colonel's invitation. One night, Trautman's troops were ambushed by the Soviet army on the way to the mission, and he himself was unfortunately imprisoned. Upon hearing the news, Rambo could no longer sit idly by. The bloody warrior put on his armor again and broke into the dangerous hinterland of Afghanistan alone to launch a tense and desperate rescue... This film won the 1989 Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actor.
