Plot:
The story begins with a kind grandfather telling a story to his sick grandson. The grandfather brings a thick fairy tale book "The Princess Bride". This fairy tale passed down from generation to generation tells a true love story of love and adventure. The kind and beautiful girl Bukat (Robin Wright) lives in the quiet village of Florin. She and the young Westray (Cary Elwes) are childhood sweethearts, and the two soon fall in love. However, the poor Westray hopes to give Bukat a better life, so he sails away from the village. But Westray's ship did not reach its destination. It is rumored that he died in the hands of pirates. Five years later, the heartbroken Bukat became the fiancée of Prince Humperdink (Chris Sarandon), but she did not love him. She still missed her true love Westray in her heart. An accident made Bukat meet Westray again, but the evil prince kidnapped Bukat and forced her to marry him. Westray is now a brave and strong pirate. To save his true love, he embarks on the road to save the princess with the superb swordsman Enigo Montoya (Mandy Patinkin) and the powerful giant Fezzik (André the Giant).
