Plot:
The show "links together" World War I and World War II, describing the story on a complete timeline from 1914 to 1945 (Roosevelt, Hitler, Patton, Mussolini, Stalin, Churchill and others were only young people around 30 years old during World War I, but they had become influential figures during World War II). The History Channel claims that this is "the first narrative technique of its kind." The World Wars tells the story of three decades of war old through the eyes of various men who were its key players: Roosevelt, Hitler, Patton, Mussolini, Churchill, Tojo, DeGaulle and MacArthur. Theses examines the two wars as one contiguous timeline starting in 1914 and concluding in 1945 with these unique individuals coming of age in World War I before ultimately calling the shots in World War II. -Written by Jiilo_Kim
