Father Long (played by Mark Williams, who is Arthur Weasley in the Harry Potter series, a British comedian, screenwriter and host) is a famous detective created by Chesterton. He is short, round-headed, and chubby. He often has a big umbrella at hand. He is shy by nature, stutters a little when speaking, looks honest and innocent, and seems to have nothing to do with detective work, but he is wise and foolish, and has a very sharp intuition.
