Plot:
In the early years of the Republic of China after the victory of the Revolution of 1911, Shen Biyun, a talented woman from Jiangnan, married into the Xuan family, the owner of the library, at the risk of her lifelong happiness, in order to realize her ideal of entering China's largest private library to read books and fight for the right of all students to study, and to investigate the murderer of her father.
