Plot:
The seven-episode Alien: Isolation is a web series and the first digital series ever set in the Alien universe. The plot is based on the 2014 game of the same name. In fact, most of the content is transferred from the game's cutscenes (some are remade and brand new), but it gives people a new experience, a new perspective, and enriches the layers of Amanda Ripley's story. The story is set 15 years after the disappearance of the deep space transport "Nostromo" and its crew. Ellen Ripley's daughter Amanda Ripley has never given up hope of finding her mother, and she has been investigating any news. Representatives of Weyland-Yutani took the initiative to contact Amanda, claiming that they have finally found the flight recorder of the "Nostromo"... on the space station "Sevastopol". Amanda immediately decided to join their exploration mission. But after arriving at the space station, Amanda realized that she had entered a hell on earth, and a mysterious monster was hunting people on the space station. Now Amanda and a small group of survivors must face the same deadly threat - the Xenomorph, the terrifying creature that changed her mother's fate forever. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the release of the "Alien" series of films, and Fox has held a series of celebrations - this digital series and the mobile game "Alien: Blackout" released in January are both among them. Although watching this digital series does not necessarily require playing the game of the same name, the experience of watching this series after playing the game of the same name is definitely different from that of a "new audience".
