Plot:
Shenmue is a video game series released for the Dreamcast in 1999. Ryo is the protagonist of the story. He was born in Yokosuka, Japan. His mother died when he was three years old, so he was raised by his father, Iwao Hazuki, until his father was killed by Lan Di. He lived with his family's doorman named Fusou, who was also his father's student. Ryo began training in the martial arts of the Hazuki style at a young age. This training made him strong and virtuous. Although he was passionate about martial arts, he did not want to become a martial arts master like his father. Ryo knew how to apply what he had learned in a fight. He was also familiar with the geographical environment of Yokosuka. Although Ryo is stubborn and competitive, he thinks twice before doing anything. An obvious example is that although he knew that Harazaki Nozomi had a crush on him, he kept it in his heart and was quite cold to Harazaki Nozomi.
