Farmer Latiaozi (played by Chen Jianbin) met a beggar (played by Jin Shijia) in the town, and the fool followed him home. Latiaozi posted a missing person notice, and soon someone claimed the fool. Then, more family members who claimed to be the fool appeared one after another, saying that Latiaozi sold the fool. Troubles followed one after another. Latiaozi knew that he was deceived but couldn't say anything. He couldn't understand why a good thing became a bad thing? He began to prove his innocence in the most simple way of a farmer. In order to find the fool, he became another fool who pestered others everywhere... The film is adapted from the short story "Running Moonlight", Chen Jianbin's debut work written, directed and acted by himself.
