Plot:
The action comedy "Wayne" (no relation to Bruce Wayne) created by YouTube has been officially scheduled to be a series. The pilot episode was scheduled last December. Starring Mark McKenna ("Sing Street") and Ciara Bravo ("NCIS" and "Skinny"), it was created by Shawn Simmons ("Mr. Pickle" and "School of Rock"), and "Deadpool" screenwriters Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick served as executive producers. There are currently 10 episodes in one season, which will be launched on YouTube Red this year. It tells a brave and sometimes bloody story: 15-year-old Wayne rides a dirty bike and hits the road with his new love interest Del to retrieve the 1978 Pontiac Firebird car that was stolen before his father died. Together, they fight the world. Joshua J. Williams ("Mudbound") plays the recurring character Orlando.
