Plot:
"Her" is a sci-fi love movie about a human and artificial intelligence falling in love in the near future. The protagonist Theodore (Joaquin Phoenix) is a letter writer with a delicate and profound mind, who can write the most touching letters. He has just ended his marriage with his wife Catherine (Rooney Mara) and has not yet walked out of the shadow of heartbreak. An accidental opportunity allowed him to come into contact with the latest artificial intelligence system OS1, and its incarnation Samantha (Scarlett Johansson) has a charming voice, gentle and considerate, and humorous. Theodore and Samantha soon discovered that they were so congenial, and there were two-way needs and desires. The friendship between man and machine eventually developed into a strange love that was not understood by the world... "Her" was mainly filmed in Shanghai, China, and was prepared and filmed by American director Spike Jonze for 3 years. The film combines novel sci-fi settings with traditional romantic atmosphere, and real people and virtuality jointly compose a warm and healing love song. The director said that this is a film that explores "intimate relationships" because humans all desire intimacy, but are afraid of and resist it; technology has facilitated communication, but it has also made people hide behind it and avoid real emotional contact. "Her" directly removes the cold veil of technology, giving it a highly humanized and vivid interest, turning a human-machine dialogue into a lover's whisper.
