Tiedan (Gerard Depardieu) is a chatterbox who chats with people regardless of time, place or person. As a result, he has no friends and changes cellmates one after another in prison until he meets the killer Ruby who never speaks. Tiedan can keep talking to Ruby, but Ruby (Jean Reno) doesn't speak or get angry, and is always planning to escape from prison. Although Ruby's escape plan is perfect, he doesn't want to be stuck to Tiedan, but it is thanks to Tiedan's help that the two escape in the chaos. Ruby also has a plan to avenge his girlfriend, but Tiedan just wants to be friends with Ruby forever and open a restaurant. One chatters and the other shouts at the other to shut up. The two people are on the run, and conflicts and jokes are endless.
