Plot:
Austrian director Ulrich Seidl has released a new film many years after his "Paradise Trilogy" that made a sensation in the international film industry. The story tells of an out-of-date singer who makes a living in an Italian resort by singing for elderly tour groups and posing as a stud to serve enthusiastic housewives. When his illegitimate daughter, who claims to be abandoned by him for many years, suddenly appears, his life changes. Ulrich Seidl uses his absurd themes and minimalist visual language to expand his vision from human nature to the current situation in Europe, making this out-of-date lover who sells Italian style a contemporary fable that satirizes the end of Europe's heyday and the price paid for past colonial actions.
