Plot:
AMC, the award-winning network that produced four-time Emmy Award-winning series Mad Men, two-time Emmy Award-winning series Breaking Bad, four-time Emmy Award-nominated series The Killing, and Golden Globe Award-nominated and highest-rated American TV series The Walking Dead, and British TV4, which produced BAFTA-winning series Utopia and Broadchurch, have joined forces to produce an eight-episode TV series Real Humans, which will premiere in the United States at 9 p.m. on June 28. This new science fiction series is adapted from the critically acclaimed Swedish award-winning science fiction series Real Humans, and was rewritten by British screenwriters Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley (The Spy Who Killed). The series is set in a world where Synth robots are widely used by busy urban people, presenting the increasingly blurred boundaries between humans and robots, and the gripping conflicts, psychological shocks and moral torture.
