FOX's reboot of 24, 24: Legacy, is executive produced by Howard Gordon, Manny Coto and Evan Katz. Corey Hawkins plays the male protagonist Eric Carter. The new character Eric Carter is a military hero who returns to the United States. Trouble follows him to the United States, so he seeks the help of CTU and prevents what may be the largest terrorist attack on the US mainland. Eric Carter used to be very rude, but later joined the Army Rangers. In the play, he returns to Virginia to find his wife Nicole, but he encounters trouble as soon as he returns to the mainland. 24: Legacy uses an episode of the show as the "real hour" format.
