Plot:
Nightclub singer Zhu Shajiao (played by Sit Ka Yin) fell in love with Hong Kong university student Zhu Zhanhui (played by Guo Feng), and Zhu Shajiao was pregnant with the latter's child. However, Zhu Zhanhui had to go to New York for further studies, so Zhu Shajiao had to give birth to her daughter Zhu Junhao (played by Charmaine Sheh) alone and raised him up. Afterwards, the kind-hearted Zhu Shajiao took in her good sister's son Wenchu (played by Julian Cheung), but Wenchu's throat was burned by poison and he could not speak. Twenty-two years passed in a flash, and Zhu Junhao and Wenchu had grown up. One day, Zhu Shajiao met Zhu Zhanhui again, and then met Zhu Zhanhui's disciple Situ Lixin (played by Ma Junwei). At the same time, Wenchu met his biological mother who had abandoned him. The two let go of their past grudges, and Wenchu even helped his mother pay off her debts. As time went on, Wenchu and Situ Lixin both fell in love with the kind and beautiful Zhu Junhao.
