Plot:
Ove (Rolf Lassgård) is a rigid and stubborn old man. His wife died of illness six months ago, leaving him alone in this chaotic world. Every morning, Ove will regularly patrol the community to make sure that all vehicles are parked where they should be, reprimand vehicles that violate regulations and enter the community privately, and drive away cats and dogs that wander around and damage the environment. In the eyes of community residents, Ove is "the evil neighbor from hell", but everyone understands that this is actually Ove's deep love for the community. One day, Ove was fired by his boss and left his job that he had adhered to for decades. Frustrated and unconcerned about the world, Ove decided to commit suicide. However, at this juncture, a woman named Pavina (Bahar Pars) and her husband moved next door to Ove with their two children, becoming a stumbling block to Ove's suicide plan.
