Plot:
Several producers revealed that the writing team has now developed a complete "blueprint for the second season plot clues". The end of the first season left many questions, one of the biggest of which is: How many parallel worlds are there? Olivia has personally experienced one of them, will she experience another? Will the concept of "Infinite Earths" described in most DC comics appear in "Fringe of Crisis"? Obviously not. Jeff Pinkner explicitly denied the existence of concepts such as "Main Earth", "Earth 2", and "Earth 3" in this show. The story space of "Fringe of Crisis" is limited to "our world" and "another world (parallel world)". In other words, there are only two worlds in this show, and there will not be Peters from 1,000 different worlds to form a "Peter Army". Alex Kurtzman said that he did not expect the writing team to introduce the concept of parallel worlds so early, which was completely beyond his original idea. When someone asked "Is this show suspected of plagiarizing "The X-Files", Robert Orci laughed and said that when they were making "Alias", others said they plagiarized "Mission Impossible"; when they were making "Mission Impossible 3", others said they plagiarized "Alias", which made people laugh and cry. What others want to say, they can only say it. When someone asked how Olivia was related to various marginal cases, Anna Torv said: "I don't know, because they (the writing team) don't know either." As for why Olivia changed from "determined" to "doubting herself everywhere", Anna Torv said that it was because Olivia felt fear after seeing herself killing people in her dreams. Joshua Jackson introduced that the second season will partially reveal Peter's past. The main character relationship in the first season is "the relationship between Peter and Walter", and the second season is similar. Someone immediately asked a question that made the audience scream: Will Peter and Olivia fall in love? Will that cause trouble for their investigation? John Noble immediately took the microphone and handed Joshua Jackson off the stage. He said that Peter would discuss this issue with Walter in the second season, and Walter would persuade Peter: Relax, it won't have any impact. John Noble also talked about his views on the character of Walter. He said that he didn't think this character was "different", but he didn't know exactly where the bottom line of this character was. Some of Walter's behaviors were "natural", and he didn't even know that he "had a sense of humor". Jasika Nicole talked about the fact that her character stayed with Walter all day because she liked him. And as a "know-it-all", she was also very helpful to Walter's research work. Regarding the new season, Roberto Orci beat around the bush and said a lot of nonsense, while Alex Kurtzman said very simply: "The war is coming." An audience member asked why William Bell's office was set up in the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center? The two producers replied: In this day and age, if you want people to believe in the existence of a "parallel world", what is more convincing than the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center? In addition, the World Trade Center Gemini in the parallel world has a strong metaphorical meaning: they represent the different "two sides" of a person. Since the World Trade Center Gemini is a sensitive topic, the production company and the crew negotiated repeatedly before finally finalizing it. Some viewers asked, we already know that Peter is from another world, will Walter in that world try to get him back? Is "that Walter" the "phantom" that Walter saw in the mental hospital? The cunning producer said three words in a row: "Yes, No, Maybe." Some viewers asked, will the characters in the parallel world appear? Anna Torv joked that Olivia kept in touch with Olivia in the parallel world through emails and phone calls, and was eager to meet. Roberto Orci, contrary to his usual behavior, said in a very serious tone: "That's quite possible~" It is impossible to tell whether he is joking or serious. Some viewers asked, will William Bell (Leonard Nimoy) be a regular character in the second season? Jeff Pinkner replied that Leonard Nimoy can appear as many times as he wants, it's all up to him. We may see him again, maybe not immediately, but his presence will affect all subsequent plots. A viewer asked, at the end of the first season, a newspaper in William Bell's office showed that Obama moved into the "New White House". Does that mean that in the parallel world, the World Trade Center was preserved and the White House was destroyed? The answer is... yes, "This is the relationship between yin and yang." A viewer asked, where did you get the inspiration? Roberto Orci laughed: "In the newspaper, in the news, in the science edition (or the part related to science)." The producer also confirmed that they will gradually "abandon" what is called "The Pattern". You may have also noticed that in the second half of the first season, the term "The Pattern" was rarely mentioned. The show will develop in the direction of "character-driven" and will not dwell too much on "What is The Pattern" and "How to solve The Pattern". The crew of the show has moved to Vancouver, Canada as a whole and will not return to New York. The second season will be broadcast on September 17, and the fixed schedule has been changed from Tuesday to Thursday.
