Plot:
The story tells the reunion of a pair of biological sisters, their grievances and disputes, and reveals the subtle changes in the relationship between China and Hong Kong over the past 30 years. Leung Mei-hang (played by Maggie Cheung) works as a senior executive of a public relations consulting company. She lives in Bel-Air and is an IFC beauty who studied abroad. She is arrogant, picky, and has a strong desire for control. It turns out that she came from a Hakka village in mainland China 30 years ago and came to Hong Kong, where she was unfamiliar with life. She started from scratch with her bare hands and is now a Hong Kong girl without any rustic taste. Leung Mei-tin (played by Liu Meijun) is Leung Mei-hang's elder sister in China. She graduated from junior high school, is good at networking, and is a capable businessman. She is not only the owner of a Hakka restaurant, the factory director, but also the village representative. Everyone in the town knows her. She lives in a noble villa and is the pride of the Hakka people. Although the sisters are very happy, they have rarely interacted with each other. It turns out that many disputes and grievances have accumulated between the sisters over the years.
