Plot:
Bernadette (Cate Blanchett) and her husband Elgin (Billy Crudup) have been married for many years. They have raised their lovely little daughter Abby (Emma Nelson). The family of three is a model family in the eyes of others. Over the years, Bernadette has devoted herself to the construction of her family, unconditionally sacrificing herself and supporting her husband's every choice. Recently, Bernadette has been troubled by severe insomnia and strong anxiety. She is increasingly reluctant to go out and contact outsiders, and has closed herself within the four walls of her home. Even her husband and daughter cannot get close to her heart. Because Bernadette suddenly realized that her world has almost nothing except her family. At this juncture when the family decided to travel to Antarctica, Bernadette disappeared.
