Plot:
"Gosanja: The Great East Map" tells the story of Kim Jong-ho, a Joseon Dynasty geographer, who followed in his father's footsteps and devoted himself to drawing maps of the Korean Peninsula after his father lost his life due to an erroneous map, and his story of constantly fighting against fate. The film is based on the novel "Gosanja" by Korean novelist Park Heung-sik, which reveals the life story of Kim Jong-ho. This is the second time that Park Heung-sik's novel has been adapted into a movie, following the popular blockbuster "Eun-gyo" starring Park Hae-il in 2012.
