The film tells the story of a squirrel named Scrat (voiced by Chris Wedge) who accidentally triggered a cosmic event in pursuit of a pine cone, changing and threatening the world of the Ice Age. In order to save themselves, the chatty sloth Sid (voiced by John Leguizamo), the mammoth Manny (voiced by Ray Romano), the saber-toothed tiger Diego (voiced by Denis Leary), and other animal tribes must leave their homes and embark on their comedy adventure. They came to an exotic new continent and met many new characters of all kinds.
