Plot:
Hua (voiced by Aoi Miyazaki), who is studying at a national university, falls in love with a man (voiced by Takao Osawa) who comes to the school to audit by chance. Even though the other party is a werewolf, she throws herself into his arms without hesitation. In the years that followed, Hua gave birth to her daughter Xiaoxue and son Xiaoyu. Unexpectedly, misfortune suddenly came, and her gentle husband passed away. The weak and strong Hua did her best to raise her two children to grow up, and her mind was involved in food, clothing, food, housing and transportation. The identity of her children as werewolves also forced them to leave the bustling metropolis and go to the quiet mountain countryside to survive. They settled in an old house. Xiaoxue was naughty and flamboyant, and Xiaoyu was slender and introverted. The siblings walked through the deep mountains and dense forests in the form of wolves, enjoying unprecedented happiness and freedom. During this period, the villagers represented by Grandpa Niuzaki (voiced by Bunta Sugawara) also brought meticulous care to the Hua family. As Xiaoxue and Xiaoyu grow up, they finally reach an important moment that determines their identity and future... This film won the Special Jury Award at the 34th Yokohama Film Festival and the Best Animated Film Award at the 36th Japan Academy Awards.
