The play is set in a newly established Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in the suburbs of Hokkaido. Due to the vast area, it is difficult to provide timely medical services, and doctors work hard to create a facility that can treat patients as quickly as possible. Yoshizawa Ryo plays the somewhat clumsy and immature young pediatrician Shikoda Takeshiro, who has been living with his mother. His encounter with PICU doctor Ueno Moto (Yasuda Akira) changed his life.
