Plot:
BritBox UK limited series "Friend or Foe" has started filming, Damian Lewis has officially signed to join, and Guy Pearce has replaced Dominic West. The series is adapted from Ben Macintyre's best-selling documentary of the same name. Alexander Cary, the creator of "Homeland Security", is responsible for the adaptation, and Nick Murphy, the director of "The Hot Zone", is directing. The story starts from the complicated relationship between Kim Philby (played by Pearce) and MI6 colleague and close friend Nicholas Elliott (played by Lewis), and tells the story of Philby, a double agent of MI6 and KGB, who betrayed. The cast also includes Anna Maxwell Martin, Stephen Kunken and Adrian Edmondson. This Cold War spy thriller documentary is considered to have the temperament of Ian Fleming and John le Carré. In fact, the postscript of this book is written by the master of spy stories, John le Carré.
