Logan (Zac Efron) is a sergeant in the US Marine Corps. He accidentally got a photo of a girl on the battlefield. Logan survived the combat missions in Iraq many times, and his comrades called her his lucky goddess. The comrades around him were killed in the accidental battle destruction, and only Logan survived, so Logan also regarded this photo as his lucky charm and was grateful to the girl in the photo. After the service, he returned to the United States, determined to find the strange girl in the photo. So Logan walked across several cities in the United States with his hounds, and after asking around, he finally found the residence of the girl named Beth (Taylor Schilling) in the photo. By chance, Logan was hired as an employee of the animal club run by Beth. The two gradually get to know each other as they spend time together day and night.
