Plot:
In the middle of the 12th century, the Heiji Rebellion broke out in Japan. The two major families of Hei and Minamoto wrestled with each other, and eventually the Minamoto family was defeated, and Minamoto Yoshitomo (played by Masaya Kato) was also killed by the rebels. After that, Yoshitomo's beloved wife Tokiwa (played by Izumi Inamori) and two children Yoritomo (played by Sosuke Ikematsu) and Ushiwakamaru were successively captured by the powerful Taira Kiyomori (played by Tetsuya Watari), and temporarily saved their lives.
