Mr. Bean is a British animated television series produced by Tiger Aspect Productions, Richard Purdum Productions, Varga Holdings and Sunwoo Entertainment (first three seasons). The series is based on the British live-action television sitcom of the same name created by Richard Curtis and Rowan Atkinson from 1990 to 1995; the series was officially announced in February 2001 and premiered shortly thereafter.
