Jim Street (Colin Farrell) is a member of the Los Angeles SWAT (Special Anti-Terrorist Team). When he and his partner Brian Gamble (Jeremy Renner) performed a hostage rescue mission, due to Brian's mistake, the hostages demanded compensation from the government. Brian left the police force in anger and Jim was transferred to another department. The friendship between the two ended. Six months later, Jim finally returned to SWAT with his unremitting efforts.
