Tom Hardy's new drama "Taboo" started filming in London this week. It is jointly produced by BBC One and FX, and Michael Kelly and Jonathan Pryce have joined the show. This drama is Hardy's collaboration with Steven Knight again after "Peaky Blinders" and "Locke". Hardy will play James Keziah Delaney in the drama. In 1814, he found that his father left him a mysterious inheritance after living in Africa for ten years; later, he was led into the war by people who misunderstood him, and he found himself in a confrontation with the East India Company, while playing a dangerous game between the two belligerent countries, Britain and the United States. Kelly will play an American doctor; Pryce will play Sir Stuart Strange, the head of the East India Company and Delaney's main opponent; Oona Chaplin will play Zilpha Geary, Delaney's half-sister; David Hayman will play the loyal servant Brace. Other actors include Jessie Buckley, Ashley Walters, Jefferson Hall, Ed Hogg, Leo Bill, Christopher Fairbank, Richard Dixon, Jason Watkins and Nicholas Woodeson. According to previous reports, Kristoffer Nyholm will be the director, Mark Patten will be the director of photography, Sonja Klaus will be the art director, Joanna Eatwell will be the costume designer, and Nina Gold will be the casting director.
