Plot:
Becca (Anna Kendrick), a new student at Barton University, accidentally joins the school's a cappella women's choir, which brings together all kinds of female members who are good, bad and weird. The only thing in common is that they can sing beautiful voices like the sound of nature. The members of the club include: "Fat Amy" (Rebel Wilson), who thinks she has the best singing voice and is extremely confident, Aubrey (Anna Camp), who often speaks rudely and is stubborn and sticks to the rules, but is actually anxious, Chloe (Brittany Snow), the spiritual pillar of the group, Stacy (Alexis Knapp), the sexy singer who has no limits, Cynthia Rose (Ester Dean), a manly woman with a moving singing voice, and Hana Mae Lee, whose voice is as small as a mosquito but whose impromptu rap amazes everyone. How does Becca, who doesn't fit in on campus, use her amazing talent to change the traditional way of performing a cappella? And how does she lead this group of girls to compete with the fiercely competitive national vocal groups?
