Plot:
The film is adapted from the life of the world-famous motorcyclist Bert Munro, and it truly and vividly reproduces the ups and downs of a legendary rider's life. The story begins in 1899, when Munro (Anthony Hopkins) was born into this world. He was weak and sick since childhood and was even issued a "death notice" by the doctor, but fortunately, Munro grew up smoothly. In 1915, Munro had his first motorcycle, and since then he started his career of racing against the wind. Until the age of 72, Munro still did not give up his dream. He modified the Indian brand reconnaissance motorcycle purchased in the 1920s and rode from New Zealand to the United States. Along the way, Munro met a group of interesting friends such as transvestite Tina (Chris Williams), widow Ada (Diane Ladd), and salesman Ferlando (Paul Rodriguez). With their help and encouragement, he finally set a new world record.
