Plot:
In Kamakura, an ancient coastal city, a small town built along the mountain, the four sisters of the Koda family live in an inconspicuous corner. Their father ran away from home with his lover in his early years, and their mother simply left their daughters to their grandmother to take care of. After the grandmother passed away, the granddaughters inherited this big house with a long history. The eldest sister Koda Yuki (Ayase Haruka), who took on the responsibility of the family too early, did her best to take care of her two younger sisters, Yoshino (Nagasawa Masami) and Chika (Kaho), to grow up healthily. On this day, the news of their father's death reached the sisters. They went together to attend their father's funeral and met their half-sister Asano Suzu (Hirose Suzu) whom they had never met. Perhaps it was the closeness of blood, and before leaving, Yuki invited Suzu to move to Kamakura to live with her. Not long after, with a longing for her sisters, Suzu stepped into the house where her father once lived. As the seasons passed, the sisters' stories quietly unfolded... This film is adapted from the manga of the same name by Yoshida Akio.
