The story takes place in Kagurazaka, Tokyo. The quaint streets and simple folk customs make this small street market almost a beautiful corner forgotten by time and gods. For seven years, the young chef Tahara Ippei (played by Ninomiya Kazuya) has been studying in the restaurant called "Sakashita". With a quiet and steady personality, he has always loved the peace and tranquility here. However, nothing can escape the fast-moving wheel of the times, and Kagurazaka and Sakashita Ryotei are no exception. The high-rise buildings that are constantly being built and the increasingly bleak business have made the two boss ladies of Sakashita, Yumeko (played by Yachigusa Kaoru) and Ritsuko (played by Kishimoto Kashiko), gradually realize that if they cannot adapt to the changes in the market, their beloved family business will eventually turn to dust. At the same time, Ippei has never given up looking for his biological father. In the face of the huge era, everyone will make their own choices.
