Plot:
Adapted from Erin Doom's novel of the same name, directed by Alessandro Genovesi (The Man Who Married) and co-written with Eleonora Fiorini, the film follows Nica, who grew up within the walls of a cemetery orphanage. She has heard a legend many times: a mysterious tearmaker who creates all the fears and anxieties in the human heart. By the age of 17, Nica has forgotten the stories she told her children because her biggest dream is about to come true: Mr. and Mrs. Milligan have started the adoption process to give her the home she has longed for. However, Nica is not the only child in the new home. There is a mysterious orphan named Rigel in the cemetery orphanage who can't calm down. Rigel is the person Nica least wants to be her adoptive brother in the world, but he comes to this home with her. Lergel is smart and clever. When he plays the piano, his fingertips can produce enchanting music that makes people linger. His appearance is as confusing as an angel, but his inner nature hides a dark nature. Nika and Lergel have the same painful and difficult past, but it is difficult for them to coexist under the same roof. But in fact, kindness and anger are just different means to overcome pain, strive to survive, and hide the negative emotions that torment the heart like the legendary tear craftsman. Facing the tear craftsman, lies are useless. They must muster up the courage to accept "love", a powerful force that makes the two people involuntarily attracted to each other.
