Three brothers with very different personalities but close friendship work as prop masters in a film production company: the eldest brother Song Ge (played by Wang Zijian) is smarter than a monkey; the second brother Xiaofeng (played by Wang Ning) is simple and upright; the third brother A Zheng (played by Xiu Rui) is humorous and emotional. Due to financial disputes, the three brothers and the lover of the film investor Jiaoyang (played by Wang Ou) are involved in a nonsensical murder case, which leads to a series of accidental and hilarious stories.
