Jennifer Jason Lee plays a single mother who moves into this "very evil" house with her two daughters and her son (Cameron Monaghan) who was seriously injured in an accident and now lies unconscious in bed. Horrible things begin as the evil spirit in the house seems to have taken possession of the unconscious son, who suddenly wakes up and becomes a tool for the evil spirit to kill people.
