Carol (Jennifer Aniston) and Clay (T.J. Miller) are a pair of siblings who love and hate each other. They work together in their father's company, one is a director and the other is an executive. In dealing with company affairs, the two siblings have completely opposite attitudes. Carol is serious and cautious, hoping that everything in the company can run as set by the rules and regulations. Clay, who is bohemian by nature, doesn't think so. He hopes to stimulate employees' desire to work through various heavy-tasting activities and parties. The death of his father forced Carol and Clay to decide who is the real heir to the company. In order to win over the hearts of the people, Clay decided to hold a crazy Christmas party with the help of his bad friend Josh (Jason Bateman).
