The live-action version of Tokyo Ghoul will be filmed as a sequel, with Kubota Masataka continuing to star in the film, while the role of Kirishima Touka played by Shimizu Fumika in the first film will be replaced by Yamamoto Maika. In addition, Shota Matsuda will play the important role of Tsukiyama Naoki. The film will start shooting in October and will be released next year.
