The series is adapted from the novel of the same name by Yun Zhongyue. It tells the story of Mi Xiaoqi, a single girl who accidentally enters the Kunpeng Continent and strives to collect spiritual jades and find her "destined one" in order to return to the world in the clouds where she originally lived. By chance, she develops a sweet and hilarious love story with the black-bellied prince Beigong Yan and the evil city lord Nan Fengchen.
