Plot:
In the near future, Britain has become a totalitarian political country, and London is completely a forbidden place for the dictator Sattler (John Hurt). The fascist government is evil, and everyone's words and deeds are controlled. All homosexuals are arrested and even killed at will. Although the public is excited, no one dares to take risks. One night, Ivy (Natalie Portman), a beautiful and gentle girl who works as a TV assistant, was surrounded by a group of corrupt secret police on her way home and attempted to rape her. Fortunately, a mysterious man wearing a mask and a cloak (Hugo Weaving) appeared in time and saved the frightened Ivy. However, the mysterious man did not reveal his name. Ivy only knew that the mysterious man was named V. However, Ivy, who was temporarily safe, did not survive. Her lover was arrested by the secret police and she was also arrested and imprisoned. In prison, she was tortured in every way and vowed to continue living in order to seek revenge! Once again, V appeared in time and saved Ivy. Ivy then learned that V, with his natural charisma, fierce fighting skills and unparalleled intelligence, had organized a group to punish evil and eradicate traitors. V deeply understood that simply punishing corrupt police officers who committed crimes would not solve the problem, and he was determined to ignite a revolution against the government's tyranny and oppression. With the help of Ivy, who was trained to be his right-hand man, V for Vendetta would fight violence with violence and bring freedom and justice to this society full of terror and corruption!
