Plot:
After the disabled soldier Li Tiangou (Fu Dalong) was demobilized, he followed the organization's arrangement and took his wife Taohua (Zhu Yuanyuan) and son to a remote mountainous area to work as a forest ranger in a state-owned forest farm. He did not expect that the simple and kind-hearted farmers in front of him made a fortune by indiscriminately cutting down and selling trees in the forest area, and the three brothers of the Kong family, known as the "three dragons" by the locals, were the initiators and the driving force behind the scenes. In order to fulfill his duties as a forest ranger, Li Tiangou began a one-man battle. In the process, the threats he encountered escalated one after another (Taohua was even insulted), but he never forgot that he was a Communist Party member and wrote a hymn to life with his actual actions.
