The film sees "the most famous love story of all time" through the eyes of Juliet's (Isabella Merced) cousin Rosalyn (Kaitlyn Dever), a perceptive but idealistic young woman who happens to be Romeo's (Kyle Allen) most recent ex. What begins as her attempt to derail the famous romance and win her man back becomes a journey of self-discovery as she ultimately dedicates herself to helping the lovers reunite.
