The film tells the story of San Miao (played by Jiang Qilin) and his three childhood friends. In the eyes of everyone, they are unemployed young people who have achieved nothing at the age of 30. They run a dance hall on the verge of bankruptcy and struggle to make ends meet. However, the dance hall is poorly managed and lacks funds to continue operating. So the four of them fly to Thailand to realize their dream of establishing an entertainment company. They hope to participate in an eclectic beauty pageant, gain fame and win a huge prize, and return home to compete again. Unexpectedly, they are plotted against and various accidents occur on the way. It is a story about making life choices between reality and dreams, feelings and material things.
