Plot:
Taiwanese gangster boss Long Rifu is attacked, but his wise and brave adopted son Long Yi (Alan Tang) saves him. Afterwards, Long Yi is chosen as his successor, which arouses the dissatisfaction of his biological sons Long Er (Simon Yam) and Long San, who try to kill Long Yi. Long Rifu reluctantly orders Long Er to kill him, but Long Er turns around and sends Long Rifu and him to hell. Then, Long Er orders his confidant Xiao Lin (Leon Lai) to kill Long Yi. Although Xiao Lin is loyal to Long Er, he also admires Long Yi. After the dilemma of loyalty and righteousness, he disobeys orders and releases the injured Long Yi and his wife Xue Er, allowing them to flee to Hong Kong and live in anonymity. Long Yi accidentally meets bar owner Cheng Li and her brother Da Fei (Andy Lau). Although Da Fei is a gangster, he has a strong sense of justice. The two of them form a life-and-death friendship because of something. Later, Da Fei had a conflict with Tou Zui Ji. Long Yi, who vowed not to get involved in the underworld again, came out again for his friend, but he didn't expect that Zui Tou Ji was sent by Long Er.
