The story takes place in a remote town in Pennsylvania, USA, where Orton (Sidney Flanigan) is an ordinary girl living there. Orton, who is introverted, is very estranged from her family and has few friends to talk to. One day, Orton was shocked to find that she was pregnant. She went to the hospital in the town for treatment. In this small and conservative place, abortion is not allowed. In desperation, Orton could only find a way to abort the child, but she failed after trying several methods. Cousin Skelly (Talia Ryder) is Orton's only friend. She is sensitive and careful and finds that Orton's recent performance is very abnormal.
